枣强县马屯镇地处冀南平原，位于衡水市区与枣强县城之间，东距武馆公路3公里，西离肃临公路4公里，北依106国道8公里，距石黄高速公路20公里，京九铁路从本镇腹地穿过并设马屯站。地理位置优越，交通便捷。

马屯镇是衡水市闻名的工业大镇，是枣强县东北的老工业基地。已有30多年的工业发展历史，在国内外享有盛誉的枣强县水暖厂就是本镇重点企业之一，“平原牌”暖气片温暖长城内外，称雄大江南北。目前除铸造、液化气配件两大支柱产业外，还有化工、纺织、电子、养殖、农副产品加工等多种行业。早于1991年被国家工商局核准组成“天元散热器集团公司”。经过几十年的发展和积累，仅集团公司内占地上千亩，大型厂房十几座。同时，还有500多亩闲置土地。为进一步加快镇域经济的发展，经枣强县委、政府批准，决定在马屯镇建立新兴工业园区，充分发挥老工业基地的优势进行广泛招商。目前已投资500万元以上的义松铸造、天威电机、奇瑞达炉具相继投产，投资超亿元的无污染纸浆项目已落户工业区内。

目前全镇已经启动高起点、高规格的园区规划与建设工作，镇政府为吸引更多的客户来工业区创业发展，将努力创造宽松的环境，在项目审批、手续跑办、部门协调、土地利用、子女入托上学、家属安置等方面，提供全方位服务。该园区基础设施完备，附近建有110千伏和35千伏变电站各一座，工业区内拥有1000伏变压器6台，供排水系统齐全。充分具备园区发展的条件。
