枣强县位于河北省东南部、隶属衡水市，面积894平方公里，人口38万，交通发达，通讯便捷，劳动力资源丰富，京九铁路贯穿全境，享有“玻璃钢之乡”的美称。我县是全国最早引进玻璃钢生产工艺的县份之一，起步于二十世纪六十年代，“八五”和“九五”期间，分别被列为省星火区域性支柱产业和国家星火区域示范产业。

河北省玻璃钢民营科技园区始建于1995年，1998年被列为省级民营科技园区，园区地处县城东北部，东靠京九铁路，西邻衡大公路、南接郑昔公路，园区占地6平方公里，路街整体框架为三纵六横。园区已累计完成投资26.5亿元，其中基础设施投资3.7亿元，实现了水、电、路、讯四通一平，建成区面积达到3平方公里。2006年园区内实现产值25亿元，预计到2007年年底可完成产值30亿元，对整个玻璃钢行业乃至全县经济发展，产生了积极地推动作用。到目前，68家企业中，年销售收入超5000万元的企业10家，超亿元的企业3家，主要产品有缠绕、管罐、冷却塔、风机、空调、造纸纺织机器配件、游艺设施，建筑型材、工艺品、汽车部件、环保设备、沼气池等40个门类2000多个品种。

 玻璃钢园区是我县对外开放的重要窗口，是全县工业项目建设的重要平台，2005年国土资源部、国家发改委批准为省级工业园区之一。近年来，在县委、县政府的正确领导下，玻璃钢园区取得了长足发展，企业摊点迅速增加，企业规模不断壮大，企业素质明显提高，园区企业已发展到了68家，其中1O家被列为河北省高新技术企业，25家通过了IS09000国际质量认证，产品销往美国、英国、韩国、香港等十几个国家和地区。园区先后建立了河北省玻璃钢研究所、河北省空调研究所、河北省玻璃钢研发中心、国家玻璃钢复合材料生产力促进中心，发展实力与对外影响明显扩大，先后被中国玻璃钢协会、国家科技部命名为“中国玻璃钢基地县”和“国家玻璃钢材料产业化基地”。

An Introduction to the GRP Zone of Zaoqiang County

Zaoqiang County is in the Southeast of Hebei Province，a part of Hengshui City，with the area of 894 sq．kilometers and a population of 380，000．It has convenient transportation and telecommunications and abundant labor force．Beij- ing．Kowloon line goes through the whole land．The county was well known as“the home of GRP”．The county initiated in 1960s as one of the earliest counties introducing GRP skills．During the Eighth five plans and ninth five plans，the county was named the regional pillar industry of the provincial SparkProgram and the national Spark Program demonstration industry．

  The Private Sci-tech Zone of Zaoq iang County was established in 1995 and was listed the provincial private sci．tech zone．The zone is situated in the northeast of the county town connecting Beijing？Kowloon Railway in the east，Hengda Road the west，Zhengxi Road in the south with the area of 6 sq．ki lometers and the structure of the three vertical and six horizontal roads．The totaI investment is up to 2650 million Yuan．including fundamental facilities of 37 million Yuan and the relative facilities of water，electricity，roads and commutations are completed with the area of 3 sq．kilometers．In 2006，the production output comes up to 2500 million in the zone and is expected to reach 3000 million Yuan in 2007．which will stimulate the whole GRP industry and the county,s economy．

  Up to the present，the annual output 0f ten out of 68 enterprises reach over 5 0 million Yuan and the output of three enterprises reach over 100 million Yuan．The main products are 40 series with over 2000 kinds such as winding、pipes、freezing towers、blower fans、papermaking and textile fittings．traveling and entertainment facilities，building materials，crafts,auto parts，environment protection facilities and march gas．

The GRP Zone is a very important window for openup and an important stage of industrial project construction and one of three industrial zones in Hengshui City approved by the Ministry of Construction and Ministry of Land Resource．In recent years,the zone led by the Party Committee 0f the County and the People’s Government County is developing rapidly．The scale of the enterprises is increasing rapidly and the quality of the enterprises is improving evidently．There are 68 enterprises，of which l 0 enterprises are listed as hitech enterprises of Hebei Province．25 enterprises are approved as IS09000，and their products are sold to over ten countries and regions including America，Britain．Korea．Hong Kong and other regions．GRP Research Institute of Hebei Province．Hebei Air Conditioning Research Institute，GRP Research and development Center or Hebei Provillce．National GRP Composite Material Development Center Were established in the zone．The potential strength and its impact are evident．The zone was named as“the base of China’s GRP”and“the nationalGRP material production base”by the Ministry of Science and Technology and China’s GRP Association．
